Today, Friday, Feb. 7, Project Manager Ilaria Graziano [@Ilaria_FMD] will participate in the word day on "Towards an Age-friendly City," part of Project Age-friendly Activists coordinated by Lunaria and co-financed by the EU Erasmus+ Project, to present the strategic use of technology for active ageing.

During the conference dedicated to age-friendly cities, there will be presentations on different areas of interest to elders, including health, urban planning, active participation, policy, social services and digital technology for elders.
In her presentation on "Elders and Digital Technology," Ilaria Graziano will present the intergenerational exchange and learning model promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale for active ageing and lifelong learning. Over nearly 20 years of activity, the model has become a true platform for learning and social innovation with free digital literacy and technology courses for over-65s, as well as innovation workshops for teachers and students, innovative formats, knowledge encoding (didactic kits with manuals, video lessons, short movies, etc.), a network of knowledge volunteers working at elderly centres, on-line social innovation communities, PC recycling campaigns and network agreements and partnerships [see website: Terzaetaonline].
