The ongoing emergency has not stopped Edu Day, the largest Microsoft event dedicated to school, university and museums. The event, which will be held today, May 12, is part of a larger framework of initiatives organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, University and Research and dedicated to digitalising school.
The fifth edition of Edu Day Live, held entirely in digital format for the first time, aims to depict this emergency through the eyes of its protagonists with their direct experiences and shared stories.
The day will open with a series of top speakers from important educational institutions, who together with schools and universities will describe the challenges faced in this period and analyse opportunities for digital evolution.
The Fondazione Mondo Digitale, an event partner, will be represented by Director General Mirta Michilli in the plenary session on The Challenge of Didactics: How to Make the Most of Digital Tools When School Starts Again (11:35 – 11:55 am).
In the afternoon, participants will hold parallel digital sessions on university and research, virtual museums, digital innovation, STEM and distance learning, Minecraft and partner education.
