Daniele (18) attends his last year of school at IIS M. Buonarroti in Frascati, the school headed by Paola Cardarelli.
Daniele has been an assiduous visitor to the Phyrtual Innovation Gym Fab Lab and with the support of Coordinatore Mauro Del Santo, he has learned to use all the digital devices in the lab. Moreover, this is where he contributed to the project for revamping the school garden along with various classmates coordinated by Prof Raffaele Fiorenza (Construction, Construction Technology and Technical Drawing). Daniele, in particular, developed the 3D model for the project.
The garden project is actually a didactic project and an integral part of the school’s curricular programme, which aims to transform the area from an abandoned area full of junk and trash into a garden and communal living area that can host activities and meetings.
In this interview with Francesca Meini, Daniele explains how thanks to his experience in the digital manufacturing laboratory, he has begun imagining his future. The first decision he has taken is that he wants to study mechanical engineering.
