Today, the first Roman LEIS (Lego Education Innovation Studio) at the Città Educativa in Rome (Via del Quadraro) welcomes once again the young designers from Class 4B at the Istituto comprensivo Via dell’Archeologia, accompanied by school administrator Cristina Tonelli.
The children will use the Lego WeDo construction kit to create and programme simple Lego models connected to a computer.
The laboratory, coordinated by young engineer Mohamed Gaber Haiba, allows students to experiment with manual didactics, find creative alternative solutions and work in a group.
In particular, the Lego WeDo constructions promote the development of:
• Manual abilities
• Relationship skills
• Mathematics, Italian and Science knowledge
• Transversal skills
