The teachers who have participated in Project Computer Science First entered over 40 proposals in the contest on the concept of diversity. All proposals employ coding to teach core subjects in primary and first-degree secondary school.
The awards ceremony will be held on Wednesday, December 16 at 5 pm. The invitation to participate is extended to all teachers interested in exploring the potential of coding for innovative and inclusive didactic activities. The contest, in fact, is based on projects addressing diversity by using coding as a tool to promote the active participation of all students, even the most fragile.
The five finalist projects will be presented at the event and the Google CS First 2020 awards will be presented. The three winning projects will receive the Tinkering, Making, Coding series, edited by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and published by the Centro Studi Erickson.
Speakers include Mirta Michilli, Director General of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, and Alessandro Bogliolo, Professor of Information Processing Systems at the University of Urbino.
