Andrea (16) studies computer science at the IIS Guglielmo Marconi in Civitavecchia. At the end of the school year, he decided to attend the Fondazione Mondo Digitale Summer School, where he is participating in the Game lab at the Officina – New Jobs Workshop. He is enthusiastic about the experience.
Not only has he found highly qualified coaches, but Andrea was also able to start off a gaming project together with other participants. What about the future? Andrea hopes to transform his passion into a job.
The Officina – New Jobs Workshop is a project conceived by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Google to promote digital skills and implement professional training and orientation activities for 10,000 young men and women currently looking for a job. The initiative has been organised with the patronage of the Italian Ministry of Labour and Social Policy and the collaboration of the Ministry of Education, University and Research, the Regione Lazio and Roma Capitale.
