International Girls in ICT Day is promoted by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) to encourage girls and young women to consider professional careers in the technology sector. Indeed, the number of women working technological fields is rising sharply and gender diversity is an enabling factor in this sector. The event is celebrated on the fourth Thursday in April every year.

Together with the, Consulate General of the United States of American in Milan, we invite students, teachers, and particularly Coding Girls to participate in “Breaking the Glass Ceiling: The Power of Engineering to Change the World.” The appointment is tomorrow – Friday, April 22, at 5 pm [see news: Engineer Ayanna].
