Connected Girls

International Girls in ICT Day is promoted by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) to encourage girls and young women to consider professional careers in the technology sector. Indeed, the number of women working technological fields is rising sharply and gender diversity is an enabling factor in this sector. The event is celebrated on the fourth Thursday in April every year.

Today, Thursday, April 22, is the 10th anniversary of International Girls in ICT Day that will focus on “Connected Girls: Creating Brighter Futures.”

How can we promote the participation of young women in technical-scientific studies and professions? We do it daily with courses custom-tailored to women, role modelling sessions, and the “My Future? It’s Up to Me?” intergenerational campaign ...

Sign up a person you care about in one of our educational activities. They will learn how technology can change their life.
