ComeOn! Kicks Off

Project ComeOn! (Community Projects for Social Innovation through Intergenerational Volunteering Experience) is financed by the European Commission. Its objective is to promote the active citizenship of youths and elders through intergenerational volunteering. The students, teachers and over sixties involved in the project in partner countries will attend micro-programming and social innovation courses to identify and resolve real problems existing in their local communities.

The partners from seven European countries met in Rome at the Città Educativa (via del Quadraro 102) for the kick off on November 28-29 and discussed project activities.

The partners present themselves in the following short interviews:

FMD - Fondazione Mondo Digitale, Italy (Lead Partner)

UEDIN - University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom

FUNDETEC Foundation, Spain

LUNARIA, Italy

ISJI - School Inspectorate of Iasi County, Romania

BCC - Budapest Cultural Centre, Hungary

ICDI - International Child Development Initiatives, The Netherlands
