The second English-language newsletter has been sent to the entire European Community of Project ComeOn! (COMmunity projEcts for social innovatiON through intergenerational volunteering experiences). The project promotes the active citizenship of youth and elders through intergenerational volunteering.

The first news item - Come On! Training is Ready - lists the main new project achievements: the definition of the project training programme that, beginning in September, will involve upper school students in volunteer work teams coordinated by teachers. The training course is based on five didactic unites for a total of over 30 hours.
The object of the course is to create intergeneration teams that can conceive and develop social innovation projects to change communities. The course contents and objectives aim to promote awareness and the ability to face 21st century challenges through a new sensorial education in a phyrtual dimension, the integration of the physical (local) and virtual (on-line) dimensions.
