Cisco Partners in Athens

The Networking Academy's EMEAR Partner Summit, which coincides with the 20th anniversary of the Cisco Networking Academy, kicks off today in Athens.

The four-day summit will end next Friday (Nov. 17) with an original IoT Packathon, a development marathon based on the Cisco Packet Tracer (PT), a network simulation tool designed to improve network learning.

Alfonso Molina, co-founder and Scientific Director of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Personal Chair in Technology Strategy (he taught for over 20 years at the University of Edinburgh) will participate in the summit.

With support from Cisco, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale is working on the IoT at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym project, a lab dedicated to the Internet of Things that will train over 20,000 high school students.
