Yesterday, the Galleria Sordi Stand was manned by the Digital Angels from the Istituto Superiore Giulio Verne for the third day of the Web Festival.
In the morning, the digital angel squad "intercepted” an elder who had never used a computer and turned him over to a tutor at the Internet Corner outside of Espressamente illy.
The tutor and grandparent took a virtual trip to the Maldives, used search engines to navigate the web and became friends. After the short lesson, the elder stopped by the nearby Feltrinelli bookstore and purchased a book on the tutor’s favourite football team to thank him.
