In collaboration with the main Italian universities, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale (FMD) is providing motivated and meritorious students with the opportunity to increase their STEAM competences and become coaches and classroom tutors for innovative projects developed with agencies, organisations and companies that are at the forefront of national development.
Selected candidates will participate in “train the trainers” sessions with expert coaches, attend FMD courses and become part of the team of coaches that work throughout Italy in schools and universities to involve younger students in the study of science and orient them towards new professions.
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about new technology and has specific competences related to coding and robotics, as well as excelling at communication, creativity and getting along with others. He/she must be a charismatic teacher and interested in proselytizing as many people as possible about digital tools for inclusion, personal growth and professional development. Candidates must also possess basic or advanced knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
- ROBOTICS
Lego Educational Kits (We Do, Mindstorm, etc.), Microbit, Block Coding, Arduino, Nao, CodeBug) - CODING
Scratch, Kodu, App Inventor, App Studio, Visual Studio, Azure, Minecraft, Python, Xamarin, Power BI, Power App, Java script. - ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
Development systems (R, Python, machine learning, deep learning, neural networks, image recognition, etc.) and artificial intelligence applications (training, assistance, etc.). - VIDEO MAKING & DIGITAL STORYTELLING
Video filming and editing, 3D animation and visual effects, 3D modelling software and video compositing. - DIGITAL MANUFACTURING
3D printers, laser cutters, lathes. Graphic design programmes and creative competences in emerging sectors (wearable technology, biomaterials, green, etc.).
