The Lego Education Renewable Energy Kit allows students to discover the potential of robotics applied to new forms of energy.
The lab was held at the Rome Città Educativa for students in Class 2C at the Istituto comprensivo di Via delle Carine, located in the heart of Rome right by the Colosseum.

The lab at the Robotics Centre, coordinated by young Engineer Mohamed Gaber Haiba, involves the construction of an Aeolian turbine to convert wind into electric energy. Students will learn how to diversify the many factors that characterize its power, build one, programme it and register data.
The kit includes the following elements
• Robust 500+ element system
• Battery box with three-way switch
• 1 motor
• 1 solar panel
• 1 energy accumulator
• 1 servomotor
• Turbine blades
The laboratories at the Robotics Centre are open every day until June 2015.
