Ms. Elda, 89, did not leave the crowded Protomoteca Hall hosting the 4th City of Rome International Robotics Trophy until it was lunchtime. Smiling after an unusual morning, she stopped to joke around outside the hall, where we asked her about her first impressions.
Can Robotics really attract an adult audience? A small experiment was conducted at Itis Pacinotti in Rome. During the course of an afternoon, students showed the elders participating in Project Telemouse, the digital literacy programme, the laboratory where they design, develop and programme robots.
