Can education be made accessible to everyone, eliminating all types of barriers? Can we continue to learn at all ages? Can education be custom-tailored and adapted to different needs?
The objective of European Project Inclusive Senior Education through Virtual U3A (ISEV), implemented as part of the Erasmus+ Strategic Partnerships for Adult Education Programme, is to make education accessible to elders, eliminating barriers and adapting educational activities to their needs: learning independently from wherever they live, health conditions, financial situation and family or social condition.
Yesterday, the educational opportunities provided by the project were presented by Marek Rembowski;to a group of over-60s at the Nuovo Primo Maggio Elderly Centre in Pietralata in Rome’s District 4 [see news: 4 Elders to Every Child]
Eleonora Curatola interviewed Carla Corradini, who is a member of the committee that manages the elderly centre.
