Giusi Messina
Enthusiastic by nature, she specialises in Economics and Business Management with a master's degree in Management - Economics, Leadership and Digital Skills from the Sole 24 Ore Business School.
Her approach to digital was born several years ago, when at the age of 14 she was creating and managing websites for show business personalities.
Immediately after university she wanted to leave for Los Angeles to gain experience abroad, but the same year she won the scholarship for the 'Made In Italy: Eccellenze In Digitale' project, promoted by Google Italia in partnership with Unioncamere, and decided, passport in hand, to 'fly' to Agrigento where she would work for a year as a Digital Strategist at the Chamber of Commerce. At the end of her experience, she was again selected by Google Italia for the role of Project Manager in the project on the digitisation of the Valley of the Temples Archaeological and Landscape Park.
A speaker at various conferences, a lecturer in social media marketing, she was also the territorial contact person for Google's 'Crescere in digitale' project.
Today she works as a freelance Brand Advisor and Digital Marketing Specialist at a communications company in Palermo and provides consultancy and training for companies and start-ups.
