Renato Brunetti

In the ICT sector since 1970, Renato Brunetti founded Unidata in 1985 together with two partners. Under his leadership the company went from being a hardware provider to being one of Italy's first Internet Service Providers. Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Unidata, he is several times President of AIIP (Italian Internet Provider Association) and is currently President of the NaMeX Consortium and of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale. Unidata, on his own initiative, successfully listed on the AIM Italia market (today Euronext Growth Milan) in March 2020. From an agreement with the international fund CEBF, Unidata founds the newco Unifiber S.p.A., for the fibre optic cabling of the so-called 'grey areas' of Lazio, in the new company Renato Brunetti first held the role of Sole Director and then that of Managing Director
