After attending classical high school in Quartu Sant'Elena (CA), I moved to Pisa to study for a degree in Humanities and Computer Science. After graduating, I decided to continue with a master's degree in the same subject, focusing on natural language processing (NLP), graph theory applied to social networks and data mining. During high school, I had the opportunity to participate in various initiatives designed to introduce young people to the world of computer science and research, which made me passionate about coding and scientific dissemination. Thanks to one of these, Science Camp, I had the opportunity to visit CRS4 in Pula (CA), where I learned about my bachelor's degree programme. I decided to participate in Coding Girls because I think there are still many obstacles and false myths about computer science—and STEM disciplines in general—especially when girls are the protagonists. I believe that computer science is within everyone's reach and that there are no problems that cannot be solved with the help of a trusty rubber duck to help with debugging. In my free time, I role-play, read and draw.
