The Fondazione Mondo Digitale is a partner of Project IDEAL - Integrating Digital Education in Adult Literacy, financed by the Erasmus + [1] Programme (KA2 strategic partnership).
The two-year project (September 2015 - September 2017) aims to provide orientation and training for European teachers and coaches on how to use ICT tools and digital methods to provide basic skills for adults (bridging the gap between formal and informal learning).
The project will develop an integrated approach to the collection, sharing and diffusion of best practices on the use of ICT to improve the basic skills of adults via innovative and inclusive teaching and learning methodologies that specifically target adults that risk exclusion (immigrants, unemployed, special needs and with learning difficulties).
Partners: 6 organizations from 6 countries
Project IDEAL targets include teachers and coaches who work with adults to improve their basic skills in a series of different contexts (workplace, professional learning, community learning, etc.). Indirect beneficiaries include adult students (immigrants, specific target groups such as young men and women who leave school prematurely, unemployed, disadvantaged categories, individuals with special needs and/or learning difficulties).
