We are once again on the phone with Emilia Bianchi from the Istituto comprensivo di Cernobbio to delve deeper into the limitations and opportunities provided by distance learning for primary school didactic activities.
In an interview with Cecilia Stajano [@CStajano], FMD School Innovation and Community Manager, Emilia describes a school that remained calm and collected even during the difficult months of the health emergency. We were particularly struck by the image of the family format classes with parents involved in lifelong learning and digital literacy. A picture that is very different from the commonplace describing parents as “victims” of closed schools. In Cernobbio, the parents participated in an open school together with their children thanks to flexible hours, on-line lessons and recorded activities.
