On Thursday, October 19 ottobre, "BiblioMakers" will open at the Biblioteca Fabrizio Giovenale (Via Fermo Corni, Rome). It will be an area to promote innovation and sharing culture with activities and making labs dedicated to primary class students and through them to families, professionals and the entire community.
BiblioMakers has been developed in collaboration by the Goethe-Institut Rom, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Biblioteche di Roma (the Rome Public Library System), which will host a cutting-edge service: for the first time, a library will host a fab lab.
Every Tuesday and Thursday, BiblioMakers will open its doors to activities related to digital manufacturing, coding and digital art. The meetings will be held from 9 am – 1 pm. Participation is free, but booking is required.
Each school can apply to participate up to three appointments as long as places are available.
