This is the second year of activities for European Project Gender Equality Matters (GEM): Tackling Gender-based Violence. The third issue of the newsletter is now on-line providing information on all the results achieved so far in each partner country. The multilingual newsletter is available in English, Italian, Dutch and Spanish. For a review of the activities in Italy, you can also see the news on Educating to Equality.
The updates include preliminary information on the international conference that will be held in Dublin in June 2020 with Prof. James O'Higgins Norman (UNESCO Chair on Tackling Bullying in School and Cyberspace) and Peter Dankmeijer, Executive Director of The Global Alliance for LGBT Education (GALE).
Partner European School Heads Association (ESHA), who has reviewed all the didactic material, participated in the Lifelong Learning Week that was held in Brussels (Dec. 2-6, 2019), promoting the GEM Programme on the LLL Platform: "Inclusion in Schools: from Policy to Practice."
All material produced by Project GEM is free for use by school administrators, educators, parents and students. The material is available at: www.genderequalitymatters.eu.
