With the end of the school year amidst the health emergency, a strategic period now begins to reflect on the transformation of schools. In the meantime, teacher training continues. In fact, it is an opportunity to experiment with new didactic tools, face new subjects in a more inclusive and transformative manner and prepare for the new school year, which will probably be held in blended mode.

USR Sardinia selected two courses from the ones available for free from the Fondazione Mondo Digitale to integrate the curriculum provided by their teachers.

The first is part of Programme Ambizione Italia for Schools, promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale with Microsoft, which addresses computer science and artificial intelligence. Not only does school play a fundamental role in providing technological skills, but it also can help to understand how AI will transform the great social emergencies.

The second is a transversal course that allows participants to reflect on the opportunities and risks of the "on-life" dimension. It is part of Programme Fully Enjoy the Internet, promoted with Google. The ubiquity of digital devices and the objective of helping students to acquire digital skills means that teachers must acquire increasingly specialistic and sophisticated understanding of issues ranging from privacy to fact checking.
