The main event next week is the final round of the International Global Junior Challenge (Rome, December 11-13). On the last day, the awards ceremony will be held at the Rome Campidoglio.
Since the last edition, the GJC has been dedicated to Tullio De Mauro (Torre Annunziata 1932 - Rome 2017), linguist, professor emeritus and scholar of international education systems, who for ten years directed the Foundation as President. The full programme, finalist projects and awards and all other information is available at www.gjc.it.

This year, the Computer Science Education Week will be held on December 9-15 and will include activities dedicated to Hour of Code around the world. The issue is IT for the Common Good. Besides the appointments at the Milan Microsoft House and the Rome Phyrtual Innovation Gym, there will also be an initiative at IIS Emanuela Loi in Nettuno (Rome), because the Hour of Code will be managed by the Coding Girls!

Other annual events, include the DTCI event on the Role of Women in the Age of Digital Transformation (Rome, Dec. 11) with FMD Director General Mirta Michilli.

There will be a project meeting for Flip Ideal (Dec. 11-12) in Slovenia attended by Project Manager Ilaria Graziano.  

Also, please remember that you have until December 18 to complete the  Accord On-line Course on Conflict Management.

  Thursday 12 - La Brera with Manuel Serra. Lab with Alberto Miserendino at Finocchiaro Aprile in Palermo and teacher training with Lara Forgione at IC Don Milani in Guidonia.

  The Regione Lazio Call for the "Free Course on Cultural Marketing Technician” promoted by the Ro.Ma. Consortium and the “Gema” Business School, aims to train a new generation of cultural marketing specialists. Fab Lab on Monday with Marco Brocchieri.

  Steam activities will be held at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym at IC Madre Teresa di Calcutta in Milan. Open day in a satellite school on Saturday.

  This week’s labs include a digital competences and orientation course (former school-work programme) for the Liceo Democrito in Rome with Coaches Daniele Vigo and Marco Brocchieri [see news: Coding and Robotics].

As usual, over the weekend, the digital manufacturing lab (Fab Lab) at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym is open to the maker community: Saturday-Sunday from 3:30 to 8:30 pm.
