The main event next week is the final round of the International Global Junior Challenge (Rome, December 11-13). On the last day, the awards ceremony will be held at the Rome Campidoglio.
Since the last edition, the GJC has been dedicated to Tullio De Mauro (Torre Annunziata 1932 - Rome 2017), linguist, professor emeritus and scholar of international education systems, who for ten years directed the Foundation as President. The full programme, finalist projects and awards and all other information is available at www.gjc.it.
This year, the Computer Science Education Week will be held on December 9-15 and will include activities dedicated to Hour of Code around the world. The issue is IT for the Common Good. Besides the appointments at the Milan Microsoft House and the Rome Phyrtual Innovation Gym, there will also be an initiative at IIS Emanuela Loi in Nettuno (Rome), because the Hour of Code will be managed by the Coding Girls!
Other annual events, include the DTCI event on the Role of Women in the Age of Digital Transformation (Rome, Dec. 11) with FMD Director General Mirta Michilli.
There will be a project meeting for Flip Ideal (Dec. 11-12) in Slovenia attended by Project Manager Ilaria Graziano.

As usual, over the weekend, the digital manufacturing lab (Fab Lab) at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym is open to the maker community: Saturday-Sunday from 3:30 to 8:30 pm.
