Hour of Code Returns

Per animare i laboratori nel "centro delle esperienze" di via del Quadraro anche quest'anno la Fondazione Mondo Digitale coinvolge nell'Ora del Codice i coach della Palestra dell'Innovazione e le Coding Girls.

The labs at the “Experience Centre” at Via del Quadraro for the Hour of Code will involve the FMD Coaches at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym and the Coding Girls.

The “train the trainers” sessions will begin today at 11 am. Coach Valentina Gelsomini will host a session on using Minecraft with Microsoft volunteers (connected via skype) and the Coding Girls from the Croce-Aleramo and Lombardo Radice Schools. The girls and the volunteers will continue their activities for Hour of Code from December 4 to 10.

The Hour of Code takes place every year as part of the Computer Science Education Week, held to commemorate the pioneer of computer science, Admiral Grace Murray Hopper (Dec. 9, 1906).

Over 2.600 students from 20 schools throughout Italy will participate in the coding labs organised by Microsoft and the Fondazione Mondo Digitale in Rome, Milan, Naples, Asti, Pordenone and Bari.
