Fifteen jury members will examine all the projects that have entered the Global Junior Challenge Competition and evaluate the innovative use of new technologies and their contribution to the development of youth education.

The jury members have been chosen from a vast range of sectors involved in the use of new technologies, education and training.

The jury will be coordinated by the Scientific Director of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, Alfonso Molina, Professor of Technology Strategy at the University of Edinburgh (United Kingdom).

At the final event of the Global Junior Challenge (7-8 October 2009), all the finalists will exhibit their work in Rome at the historical “officine” of the Itis Galilei, the first Roman school to focus on industrial pursuits back in 1919.

Today, the school presents an ideal innovation programme spanning from an extraordinary heritage in industrial archeology to modern building automation to experiment innovative solutions for the social inclusion of all citizens.
