WHAT I DO. Sicilian by origin (and also by temperament!), after graduating in International Relations first at the University of Bologna and then at the University of Turin, I directed my compass towards the Middle East and then landed in Rome. I have been working at Fondazione Mondo Digitale since 2019 and since the beginning I have been involved in projects aimed at fighting inequality and educational poverty, first as a project assistant and now as a project coordinator. I have always worked in the field of social innovation and community empowerment because I believe in the collective construction of a more equitable, sustainable and inclusive future for all. Intrigued by world politics and the rapidly changing dynamics that govern it, I am also a fan of art in all its forms and self-taught in experimenting with some of them.

WHAT I DREAM. So many things. Among them: to be able to read Mahmoud Darwish in the original language, to learn to weave carpets by restarting my grandmother's loom, to continue my commitment to the creation of social value for the territory and communities, always with an eye to the future and my feet firmly planted in the present.
