The Invisible Guides Project developed by the Laboratorio 53 onlus and Echis - Incroci di Suoni in Rome, won the eighth edition of the Global Junior Challenge in the "ICT for the Integration of Migrants and Refugees" Category [see news: #GJC Winners].

The award, a Medal of Rome, was presented to Andrea Cocco during the ceremony at the Rome Campidoglio. The jury presided by Alfonso Molina, presented the award with the following motivation:

15 migrants describe two Roman neighbourhoods. The sound walks are an inter-cultural walk through the capital city. The migrants, who share our streets, squares and beautiful monuments, describe them from their point of view, and not as guests.

An interview with Eleonora Curatola in the “Biblioteche di Roma” office, where an international showcase of finalist projects was organised.
