The Project Fondazione Mondo Digitale returns to work on integration and literacy (functional and digital) of foreign immigrants with Project Co-Host, financed by Microsoft Philanthrophies, through the third reception formula.

 

Schools become hubs for the education and integration of immigrants and refugees thanks to the help of students acting as digital, social and cultural coaches.

 

The project, which addresses refugees, asylum seekers and students in secondary-degree second school, includes a range of activities:

  • Train the Trainers activities on-line based on the Life Education Model
  • Laboratories (both physical and remote) on civic education, linguistics and basic computer skills with manuals and multimedia
  • Creation of Internet Points in schools
  • Creation of a web portal with open source dedicated content
  • Organisation of public events to promote interaction with immigrants, refugees and Italian citizens.

 

The project involves:

  • 1000 foreigners attending courses
  • 3000 asylum seekers and refugees involved in communication and dissemination activities
  • 1000 students in second-degree secondary school as social, digital and cultural coaches
  • 50 local actors
